Psalm 31:12

12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: 

I am like a broken vessel.

What makes for a broken mind?

What breaks our mind?

What makes us "snap"?

What influences our minds?

Who influences our minds to be broken?

Why do they want to "break" us?

Here's where SPIRIT led me:
